With over 1000 visitors per day it is also the most cost effective form of advertising. Featured Property listings can be bought for 99 but some of them have received over 4000 visits in less than a month. One advertiser has even posted a message “Fully Booked for Summer 2009″ to deter enquiries.
Technology
The company cancelled the tradition of posting long and complicated reference numbers and instead installed an option that enables potential renters to save their options for up to 60 days. This easy to use functionality has seen enquiries and conversions increase.
Other technological firsts include a personal statistics counter for advertisers and the TV travel guide.
